The Adams Crossing Security Patrol is staffed by off-duty Atlanta Police officers and is currently headed by Kevin Leonpacher of the APD. The patrol was established in 2003 and has since reduced crimes in our neighborhood significantly. Our patrol was created in response to petty thefts of plants, yard furniture and random car break-ins.
ALWAYS call 911 in an emergency, or if you are reporting a crime.
The Security Patrol is NOT a substitute for our City of Atlanta Police force, and they may not be on duty at the time of your call.
Please call the on duty patrol at (470) 576-7784
You should contact them immediately when observing anything suspicious.
We advise you to let patrol know when you are going to be out of town so they made do some extra checks on your home during your absence.
It is important that all relevant activity is reported to the police department so they can allocate the appropriate on duty police to the area. They don't know if we never tell them.
We urge our residents to park in their garage when at all possible.
If you must park on the street, do not leave purses, wallets, GPS systems, computers, bags or anything else visible in your cars.
